Will you be able to have children?

If I had a dollar for every time someone’s asked me this questions I would be RICH!

Because of the fact that people are so unaware when it comes to Endometriosis when they hear it they automatically think no children.

Here’s the deal. WE DO NOT KNOW IF WE WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE CHILDREN. Let me say it again WE DO NOT KNOW!!

Endometriosis is such a tricky disease basically the bitch has a mind of her own and does what she wants when she wants. So, we don’t know what is going to happen until we actually try to get pregnant and what happens from there. Yes, doctors can give their opinions especially if you’ve had a surgery and they were able to see your Fallopian tubes. If they look good with no much endo then your changes are better than someone who has endo all over their tubes!

BUT still we won’t know until we try but every time you ask us we have to think about something the bad that comes with that question.

The bad being not ever being able to have a pregnancy of your own. Not being able to experience that part that a women should. Does that mean we will never have children? NO WAY. Adoption is also in the cards and I love the idea of it. Also the thought of having a little girl and she end up having Endometriosis and watching her suffer that thought is just unbearable to me.

So a little thought for the women out there who have a normal period and will be able to have a normal pregnancy. Enjoy it. Enjoy every single minute of it. Enjoy those 5-7 days of a regular period. Enjoy the good and the bad of your pregnancy because there are some of us out there who will never get to experience that. Some of us have never experienced a normal period.. I would kill for a period of 5-7 days rather than 3 months of bleeding.

Remember there is always someone out there fighting their own battle. Enjoy every blessing because someone isn’t as lucky as you.
